During Arendalsuka 2024, NND invites you to a breakfast meeting on Tuesday, August 13 at 0800. What opportunities do digitalization and artificial intelligence provide for a more sustainable approach in complex projects? How does this affect the work in such projects? What challenges should we take into account? Are there synergies across industries?
NND will certainly decommission the Norwegian historic nuclear facilities. Other industries, such as the oil industry, will also face challenges such as what to do with oil platforms after they have played their role.
For existing and new industrial projects, the entire life cycle of an industrial plant should be considered. In this way, one can prepare for the dismantling and handling of waste already in the planning of new projects, but existing projects should already be planned for safe dismantling in the future.
